1. Don't post, or link to, porn or nudity.

2. No trolling. Any posts that have no purpose other than to start a fight or disrupt the site will be considered trolling.

3. Try to stay on topic in the music forums. Going off topic in GD is fine though.

4. Don't post in topics that haven't had any new posts in 60 days.
If you want to discuss something start a new topic instead of reviving a two month old discussion that everyone has forgotten about.

5. I don't know what Steve's job is either, so stop asking.

6. Free speech means free speech. I don't care what you say as long as it doesn't violate the Terms of Use (which I didn't write). Obviously trolling is not protected by this.

7. Signatures- Images should be no larger than 500 pixels wide and 150 pixels tall.
Try to avoid annoying animations.
Also see rule one for things not to put in your signature.

8. Avatars- Try to keep the filesize under 40kb.

9. Image hosts- Some sites don't allow you to hotlink their pictures.
