Title: The Best Metallica Album?
Description: Best Album And Why?

Gaurded_Gizmachi - May 23, 2007 06:32 PM (GMT)
First off I would like to say if you haven't heard any of these 4 masterpieces do us all a favor, go home and end your pitiful existence. But last night Steve and I got into this huge discussion about music and Metallica came up and we started talking about which was their best album and why? So I made a topic on here to get some other opinions. Personally my favorite album hands down is fucking Kill Em All. Metallica grew up playing on the streets of L.A. which was filled with nothing but retarded ass Glam bands. So for a band growing up around that shit Metallica had to put their heart in soul into their very first CD to show everyone that they weren't just another band from L.A. The original title for their self-release was supposed to be "Metal Up Your Ass" and thats about as metal as you can get. Metallica had one on the greatest bassists in the world and anything after his death just hasn't been the same, RIP Cliff Burton.

Alright and I'm the dumb ass that doesn't know how to make polls so if anyone can fix this poll it would be much appreciated.

Fixed it, but I don't know how to align it properly also I don't know how to have it going horizontally not vertically.

But it's good enough for now, I'll vote for the black album simply because it has timeless classics and I love it better than the rest, but then again I like ride the lightning a lot as well.

Kill 'em All

Thank you sexy. But I mean just listen to the difference between those two albums. The Black album only got more air play because Metallica was all of a sudden "Popular" and it was cool to listen to them. No music comes from the soul and Kill Em All is one example of that.

Metallica - The Four Horsemen (Kill Em All)
Metallica - Enter Sandman (Black Album)

...And Justice for All

I had to edit it again so I could vote for it.

I originally had it up there but I fucked up making the damn poll.

Kill Em All PWNS every Metallica album out there.

Ride the lightning because it has great songs such as fight fire with fire, creeping death, and for whom the bell tolls.

Kill 'Em All
1 Hit The Lights
2 The Four Horsemen
3 Motorbreath
4 Jump In The Fire
5 (Anesthesia) - Pulling Teeth
6 Whiplash
7 Phantom Lord
8 No Remorse
9 Seek And Destroy
10 Metal Militia

...How can you not say that is their best album...I Love it...and I play quite a few songs of theirs and their is one hell of a difference between Enter Sandman and Seek And Destroy.

I don't think there's any better or worse (with the exception of St. Anger of course...) they're all just different. Depends on my mood as to which I prefer to listen to. Lyrically I like the Black Album (gotta love Sad But True & Nothing Else Matters) but of the others, I probably listen to Master of Puppets the most ~ it's just classic!

St. Anger has some cool songs. I like Frantic a lot.

hvymtlmom - July 30, 2007 11:05 PM (GMT)
Frantic...and most of St. Anger.... is much better when they play it live.

God - July 31, 2007 02:57 AM (GMT)
But it still sucks.
