When I woke up this morning to go to work around 5-5:30AM, 3 Inches of Blood posted a status on their MySpace stating that they had gotten the news about Dio's death...I looked it up but couldn't find anything...I guess the early rumors turned out to be true...\m/

I'm actually surprised by the fact no one posted anything about it before I did. It's been the frontpage news on Yahoo! since ~11AM EST.

Shit it's been a whole day and I didn't even know.
RIP Dio

I was going to post something but I heard that it was just a rumor spreading around.
In memory of Dio every person that I walked past today at school I threw up the horns...lulz

So I'm to assume you walked around all day with your hand doing \nn/?
Had to make holding a pencil a bitch .....

Yea it was fucking funny, everyone was very confused.

I got my haircut yesterday I said to the woman 'Ronnie James Dio' passed away yesterday. She was like 'Never heard of him'. No one else at work knew either yet they saw things like R.I.P Dio on their Facebook pages.

:(
From what I understand, he actually died around 7:45 that morning. There were a lot of internet hoaxes the night before saying that he was dead, and they turned out to be true a few hours later when he actually died.
I was going to post this when I found out, but I was busy getting ready to go out of town.

| Who's that? o.o |
:o
He was the lead singer of Rainbow, Dio, Heaven and Hell, among others.
He was the singer for Black Sabbath for a few years as well, recording some of the greatest metal ever.
Never heard the song Holy Diver?

If you haven't looked him up on Wikipedia yet, do so. You probably know him from more then you think, just can't remember.
Psycho - May 25, 2010 09:22 PM (GMT)
I went to Wiki and I found out that I never heard of the dude or anything about him.... Well, rest in peace.

Pinned because I think it's too important to let vanish into the "Undiscussed Topics" thread (i.e. Trash)
