Title: Get Damned
Description: The Agony Scene's new album

First impression: I was a little disappointed, it kind of sounded more like every other band out there.
On their first album the vocals were all a high scream, very cool, and the only clean vocals on the entire album were on the "Paint it Black" cover.
Then on their second album the vocals changed a little, the screams were deeper on some songs, and there was a lot more actual singing. They were starting to sound a little bit more like every other metalcore band out there.
Now on the new album, Get Damned, the screams seem a little better than on The Darkest Red, and there is only a little singing.

This one isn't as crushingly heavy as The Darkest Red and is more melodic than anything else they've done, but it's definitely fast, and has that nice evil sounding scream.

I haven't had time to sit down and critically listen to it yet (load of school work and exams to study for), but so far I'm happy with it. Certainly not their best work, but it's definitely got a spot in my CD collection.

I'll send a scene rip your way when one is released dude, it'll have better quality.

The album isn't bad, but out of the 3 releases I believe it's the least favourite of the 3. I'm glad their small line-up swap around hasn't changed the sound too much which is good.

A terrible opposite of this example is Still Remains, with their terrible effort 'the serpent'. They are just clad in gayness, and feminine looks.

I was looking forward to that album, but no it's a disappointment.

Any way, new agony scene album 7/10

I think I might actually like this one more than The Darkest Red.
